Privacy policy

Zetta Claims exists to prove a visit happened — a photo, a place, a time — and to get you paid for it. This page says exactly what that means for your data.

Who we are

Zetta Claims is made by Zettabyte Technology Incorporation, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is a service companies use to reimburse their field staff for visits. The company you work for is the customer; you use the app because they invited you.

What we collect

Account: your name, email address and profile picture, as provided by Google when you sign in. We do not see or store your Google password.

Claims: the amount, the office you visited, the photo you take, the time it was taken, and the GPS position of the phone at that moment, plus the street address we look up from that position. This is the proof your company pays against, and it is the entire point of the app.

Phone number: the one you enter when you accept your company’s invitation, so your company can reach you about a claim.

Technical: sign-in sessions (which device, when), and standard server logs.

What we do not collect

Location is read once, at the moment you take a claim photo, and only while the app is open. The app never tracks you in the background and asks for no background-location permission.

No advertising identifiers, no analytics SDKs, no contacts, no other photos on your phone.

Why

To let you submit a claim and let your company’s manager see the proof, approve it and pay it. Your company sees your claims; other companies never do.

To email you and your company about claims and billing. We do not send marketing.

Who can see it

The managers of your own company, in the Zetta Claims web dashboard. Zettabyte staff, for support and to run the service. Nobody else — we do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or hand it to third parties except the ones below that we need to run the service.

Service providers: Google (sign-in), ZettaCloud (our own file storage, Bangladesh), our email provider (for the emails above). Each receives only what its job needs.

How long we keep it

Claim photos are deleted automatically after a claim is settled, on a schedule set by your company’s plan: Free keeps none, Starter 90 days, Growth one year, Enterprise for as long as the company is a customer. The claim record itself (amount, office, decision) is kept as your company’s bookkeeping.

Accounts are kept while your company uses the service. Sign-in sessions expire after 30 days of inactivity.

Your choices

You can see every claim you submitted in the app. To correct or delete your data, or to delete your account, ask your company’s administrator or email us — we act within 30 days. The steps are on the Delete your account page (claims.zettabyteincorp.com/delete-account). Deleting your account removes your profile and phone number; claims your company has already paid stay in their books, with your name on them, as the law on business records requires.

You can revoke the camera and location permissions at any time in your phone’s settings; the app will then not be able to submit claims.

Security

Everything travels over HTTPS. Sign-in tokens are stored in your phone’s secure keystore. Photos are stored on our own servers, not with a third-party cloud provider.

Children

Zetta Claims is a workplace tool for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
